Just started leaking!! But, only in 1 breast. I have implants & one has nerve damage. I’m worried it…

I know that it's normal if only one leaks and not both. I too have implants and this will be my first time breastfeeding with them. I wouldn't be concerned 😊 are your implants under the muscle?

Just be patient mama, i breastfed all my kids my middle child was the hardest he wouldnt latch and my milk took for ever to come in. I would sit with the breast pump for half hour at a time trying to get the milk to flow after almost a week my milk started flowing. My son would only take the bottles it took a while and some frusterating attempts but he finally latched i didnt want to give up. It was painful but i stuck it out because i knew the pain would go away and it would be like second nature to me and after about a month everything came into place and i was able to breastfeed my son my milk was flowing and it was no longer painful. Pain only lasted about a week. My advice dont stress take your time and enjoy your baby take breaks when you start feeling frusterated. Good luck dear.

@jessicawashburn16, yes they’re under. The one tho is mostly numb & nipple as well :( the only sensation I get from it is very uncomfortable, like a bruised feeling. I’m really hoping it can produce milk then I can see if a nipple shield may help or just lightly pump that side

@lizsouthwick mine are under as well... How recently did you have your implants mine are about 6 years old. I would think you will be just fine probably just coincidence the one that has some numbing sensations isn't leaking. My left boob has been leaking on and off for weeks nothing from my right yet. BUT I think with my last child who is now 8.. It happened the same way only one leaked during pregnancy but I was able to feed from both 😊
