Baby wrap worth it ?
Okay ladies. I know this has been talked about before but I just wanna know if a wrap is worth it?! My house is a complete disaster. I'm not able to put baby girl down for more then 10 minutes or so to clean and for some reason, I'm the only adult here compable of cleaning ? my so doesn't clean whatsoever. My daughter has been so fussy the last few days so I haven't been able to get anything done. My question is, is a wrap worth it? To help me get household stuff done?? I worry that I won't be able to actually clean, like I'll have to have one hand on her the entire time cleaning or something.

Baby wearing is absolutely worth it! I have a soft structured carrier and my little guy is out within five minutes once he’s in there. The only time I really feel a need to hold on to him is if I’m bending forward. But you can still do dishes, sweep, mop, wipe surfaces etc. with LO on you. I actually don’t use mine for cleaning since my guy generally gives me some time every day to clean, but I would recommend baby wearing to anyone.

Yes babywearing is so worth it. And not just in the house but grocery shopping or any other errands you have to run as well. From my personal experience though, the wraps seemed too complicated to get on. If you’re looking for a budget carrier try a ring sling. I also like the ergo 360 but that one is more expensive.

Agree with everyone. Babies r us is closing so you might get a really good deal on an ergobaby original with infant insert. I bought one a few days ago and I love it!

If you don't have a problem with getting a used one check Facebook marketplace. There are tons for cheap even some brand new.

I have a baby k’tan (soft carrier) and a lillebaby (structured carrier), and LOVE them both. They’re both easy to put on and very comfortable. The K’tan is easier to use with an itty bitty newborn and the Lillebaby offers lots of back support for bigger babies.

Second hand wraps and buckle carriers are going for pretty cheap used right now. See if there is a baby wearing group near you or even an online local baby stuff sale group. I love ring slings and they can be used to toddler. Moby wraps or other stretch ones are nice and cheap but aren't great when baby is heavier. I stopped using mine at 16lbs last baby. Woven wraps can also be used long term. Clearly I love baby wearing. Even better when they are bigger and you can wear on your back. It's a life saver.
