McKenna gets very fussy while feeding. Ice checked everything, looked for patterns when she gets fussy and unlatches... just about everything. All signs point to me having a fast milk flow. I've googled what to do, like switching positions and a nipple shield. So far, it has made a huge difference! She has her 1 month check up on Thursday and I will bring it up to the Dr. But I just wanna know if anyone else is dealing with this and what you've done to help it?

I pump a little before I feed her. Then she seems to stay latched longer and doesn't choke as much

I thought about doing that too. Haven't tried yet though

When my let down is strong (she’s choking or clicking) I take her off and express into my burp cloth until the hard let down is over. Then I let her nurse as usual. At first she would fuss about being taken off but now she patiently waits.
