Still hurts
Tmi but it still hurts to go number 2 for me and I'm three weeks pp. I'm not sure if I should be concerned or not. I had such an easy recovery with my first and now with this one, recovery isn't as easy.

I had the worst constipation with my second for 2 months. It was so bad it made me cry and I was bleeding but didn't have a hemorrhoid. The thing that finally helped was metamucil.

It’s funny u mention this bc when I go I start bleeding more , I’m taking stool softener and it seems to help but for some reason I bleed a little when I go and I no it’s not coming from my butt I think it might be from my stitches , sorry if it tmi

@alishap1212 I was told I probably had a anal fissure which is a tear. I bled so much that the water was red. Sorry tmi. This time around I started taking metamucil at the hospital to avoid going through that again. What happened was that with my second my contractions started while having a bowel movement so it made the muacles tense up or something all I know is that it hurt.

I’m not sure I was just told I had a 2nd degree tear , the bleeding isn’t super bad it’s hardly here during the day but when I use the bathroom it starts again

Take milk of magnesia and collace to soften poop.

With my first I had an anal fissure, which a tear in your rectum. I pushed for 5 hrs. So you could imagine the damage I caused down there.
It hurt so bad to have a bowel movement. What helped me was a 10 min Epson Salt bath after every bowel movement and drinking Miralax at night before bedtime.
It was a life savor.
Doesn’t hurt to tell your OBGYN your symptoms. And she’ll be able to tell you if you tore your rectum or if it’s Hemorrhoids
