This just crossed my mind because eventually I'll have to do this, but right now my dd is 2 weeks. I ebf and have only pumped like twice. When she is 6 months old, I'll be attending internships and working again. So I'll need to pump... will it be too late to start pumping Then? Will I get out what she needs?

You should be fine to wait. Just pump when she’d normally eat if you can. Then save that for her to have the next day. I built up a small freezer stash before I went back to work just in case I had problems pumping. I never had any issues and didn’t use that stash until much later.
