38 week appointment
Just got back from my appointment, I'm 3cm and 70-80 percent effaced. Last week I was 2.5 and 70 percent. She won't do a membrane sweep until 39 weeks. If baby isn't here by next appointment, she'll set up induction date, for sometime 40 weeks. I'm feeling so disappointed!

Oh and I feel cramping and bleeding from the check. Does that mean anything??

I just got checked too and am now cramping a BUNCH! Not sure if it means anything positive but as far as feeling the water it's either bulging and ready to break soon or baby is just so low she can feel it , my girl is low too you can feel her head but my cervix is 2cm , 50% effaced (probably more she said) its posterior ? but having a ton of cramps! Radiating to my back now?

@lol I was checked last Friday (1 cm dilated and 50% effaced) and after the check did have some bleeding, which the doctor told me to expect. It lasted only for the day.

I will be 38 weeks Saturday and just had mine checked I’m 2 1/2 - 3 cm and 25% effaced i haven’t had any cramping or bleeding that I’ve noticed I’m due the 17th and my mom wants to be here for the birth and has a plane ticket for Saturday (the 3rd) but we want to move it back to the 10th but not sure because i don’t want to go into labor before then! What would you guys do?? ? everything has been perfectly normal and healthy this pregnancy so I’m thinking she could wait one more week?
