My dr told me to use Unisom during pregnancy to help me sleep. It was safe and my 18 day old baby is healthy.

Benadryl and unisom are ok. Weird that your doc doesn’t approve of these.

You're allowed to take benadryl for allergies and benadryl makes most people sleepy. Also with both my pregnancies I was told if I had trouble sleeping I could take 2 Tylenol pm

@kimberlydgable, my doctor gave me phenergan for my nausea earlier in my pregnancy but he also recommended me to take it to help me sleep..because it does make you sleep and he said should definitely help me rest better! And it has!
