So my baby is in NICU due to low blood sugar. Same as my last baby....I know it could be much worse but I'm still just sad. Every time I think we are making progress his levels slip back down. My milk hasn't come in yet so we have to supplement with the high calorie formula and I just feel like there's nothing I can do and we're just being held hostage. I feel like he would be better if I could have him close to me 24/7 and my milk would come in. That's what happened with my last child. Milk didn't come in and her levels didn't continue to go up until they put us in the NICU apartment together. She was discharged the next day, took the breast no problem and has been great ever since. I just need my baby boy to get his levels up and we can start our lives. Prayers would be greatly appreciated....starting to get real discouraged. And on top of that I think I'm being discharged tomorrow (saw my name on papers at nurse station) but I'm not leaving here without my baby so I hope they have an available overnight room or we can go to the NICU apartment......prayers and support would be greatly appreciated.
