1.My MIL wants to plant tomatoes but from the whole tomato? She has to cut the tomato in half in order to plant it right?

2. How to you plant strawberries? Is it just the seeds?

3. I picked some flowers from our neighbors, can I plant them in my garden? Will it attach to the soil fast?

@simply_mee, 1: no you can plant the whole tomatoes but I much prefer to plant a purchased plant as tomatoes can be finicky 2: you can plant seeds but this is also one I prefer to buy a start. Do know they spread a lot with suckers and live for years. So they need a large, permanent bed. 3: depends on what flowers they are. Some will establish, others will not
