So today while I was at work, this lady came in with her son who was 18 months. I noticed her son also had a G tube (feeding tube) like my son

I approached her and told her how cute he was and mentioned that my son also has a G tube.

I also said, "I hope this doesn't come off as rude but I am glad that I have finally met another baby in the same situation as my son, having a feeding tube."...

She said "yeah, it's like making a new friend.."

For whatever reason, I feel like I shouldn't have even said anything....

I just really wish I knew more parents in my situation. It's hard to make plans, do anything or go anywhere.

I would never wish it on any one though ....
