- Been a little down today.. my pressures were up again at my apt & my doctor is thinking it’s hypertension. So weird as I’ve literally had zero issues with my two other pregnancies (I know each pregnancy is different but still..) So I had to do lab work & I was given a 24 hour urine collection kit. They want to make sure my kidneys aren’t over producing protein. My next apt is Friday & if my pressures haven’t improved then we’ll discuss medication and or bed rest. Not happy.

Ugh! That sucks. I remember having to do this with my first. I had to pee in a jug 1-2 times a week and make sure I got my sample to the doctor before time ran out on the sample. My doctors offices was 30 minutes away. The drive got annoying!

@wvmommy, omg I can’t imagine that ! Mine is about 20 minutes away. Did you have high bp also ?

@t.jen88 I sure did! Mine got so bad, my vision changed. I went from 20/20 vision to needing glasses. I can't tell you the number of times I was dizzy or had the fireworks in my eyes. So glad my last pregnancy was better. I'm hoping I don't have a repeat this time around. Men have it so easy!! 😂

Holy shit lol, I was unaware that could actually happen 😳 Right now it’s just faint headaches & light headedness every so often.. Did they say what caused it ? I told my husband I was tying my tubes after this one because it’s just not fair lol. They have it wayyyy TOO easy 😂

@t.jen88 Men absolutely do! 😂 My eye doctor said it was caused by increased pressure on the blood vessels in my eyes. Many may have this occur, but your vision can go back to normal shortly after birth. However, 15% (if I remember correctly) can have permanent changes in vision. I would do it all over again to have my daughter.
