Travel work? I knew some CNAs that would take a weekend and do a travel job up in ATL.

My step dad makes $15 and I was only making $11 lol

@roguemommyofjx3 how long was he working as one ? And that's a step up from 9 -10 bucks cause that's all you getting out this way and only if u have experience ll... like u would have to be working as a CNA for 2-3 years

I work a PRN position where differential can add up. My base pay with no experience is 11.13/ hr. Night shift an extra 1.00/hr and weekends an extra .50/hr. If you work more than 2 shifts in a pay period, an extra 1.00/hr you worked, more than 36 hrs worked an extra 2.00/ hr you worked, etc.. so it’s not AMAZING money but it is decent. I’m also a nursing student though so it’s a position for CNAs that are in school as students.

@lp1988727 how long has she been an CNA and is the cost of living high where you are ? It has to be lol cause if not people wouldn't flock to becoming a RN .

@babyjjsmommy that is true and it's not bad if you know your not gonna be in that position long. Quite a few CNAs became nurses where I was .

@lp1988727 I just checked and it seems like its pretty costly like California to live out there. . it balances itself out ...if we was making 23 an hour in Mobile Alabama as CNAs it wouldn't be no need to get an education or anywhere else that's like us . you can get a really, really nice place out here for 700 in a GOOD AREA!!! A nice area rather 💁🏾‍♀️ . Our COL is pretty cheap so if your making that type u gonna be living really good out here and places likewise 🤗

@lp1988727 they dont pay us well at the hospital either . That's really good pay but I'm pretty sure it still balances its self out . They they pay us the minimum like we are kids smh and we do most of the work 🤦🏿‍♀️ wish they would pay us 18 over here cause I sure would drop this dental assistant program quick lol I would be good and straight with that 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿

@lp1988727 well I can see that 🤔 is she private duty ? Or with a company ? My mom was a CNA but she started to work private duty and she was making about that much.
