Im really sad, just got of the doctor. Im only 21 weeks and i have hight blood pressure 140/90.doctor said it is too early for that and it might be dangerous. Gave me labetalol and aspirin. Have anyone of you girls been taking those med while pregnant ? Is it ok for baby? Did u face blood pressure problems that early?thanks

I know aspirin is fine to take they usually give that to prevent high blood pressure and I’m sure the other one is safe to or they wouldn’t have prescribed it.

Hoping that everything goes well for you and Baby. I am currently taking baby aspirin as well to prevent high blood pressure. Been taking it for about 2 months now Baby is fine. I was scared to take it also but several drs / specialist assured me it is safe:)

I had to take both of those starting around 4m with my first. Only issue I had was my feet and ankles would swell if I stood too long.
