We miscarried at 11 weeks and baby stopped growing shortly after 6 weeks. We waited until the first actual period and started trying after that. My periods were never the same. We had a natural miscarriage at home as well, it took about 3 or 4 cycles for my cycle to regulate again. The first two months after my miscarriage, I spotted every single day. I think it was because my hormones werent balanced. I ovulated the week after I passed the sack. And my period showed exactly 2 weeks later. I also had a negative pregnancy test 2 weeks after the miscarriage. We conceived 10 months later.

My doctor said most of the time if you had a normal regular cycle, chances are after miscarriage it'll remain the same. And for me , it did. Ive always been a 28 day cycle. Just my periods were never the same. Most months they consisted mostly of light bleeding, and shorter , than its normal 5 days. Which I was concerned wasnt healthy but I guess it didnt mean that. My first period was pretty painful.. Following miscarriage.

@angikay, Our last miscarriage was the month before we conceived our little guy with special needs. We never had a cycle after we conceived within two weeks of the loss. So I wasn’t sure what to expect this time. Hoping we have a normal cycle in July so we can start our Clomid again.

@beakymcspence youre very welcome. I hate it that youre going through this. I just seen your post about it being fraternal twins. So sad. I'm sorry. Losses, no matter how early or far along, is so devastating. And now that I'm pregnant again, that fear of losing another is very real. Every single day.

@beakymcspence they typically say 4 to 6 weeks. But mine came in exactly 3 weeks from passing the sac.

I had a missed miscarriage in November, and I needed a cycle off mentally even though we got the all clear to try again. We started trying again the next cycle, and we conceived.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss :( I also just mc at 10.5 weeks. Baby stopped growing g at 6+5. It's been 2 weeks since we passed the sac and dr told us we could try it we felt up to it. Also, i was given progesterone to start after ovulation.

@donn1419, Awe maybe we could be cycle buddies!! We passed baby A Sunday night and Baby B Monday. Has been a real roller coaster ride.

Awe I'm so sorry:( that's awful. Yes!! Let's be cycle buddies!!! We are resiliant and strong and actually I've heard that after a mc we are more fertile for whatever reason.... let's hope this is the case:)

Beaky, I’m so sorry to hear of your lo!! I actually miscarried exactly a year ago tomorrow. We conceived exactly 4 weeks later, not trying but not preventing either. I went on to 24 weeks and lost my baby girl.. but her passing had nothing to do with how early we conceived after.. sending you tons of hugs and positive vibes!! Hang in there mama!
