Does anyone have any good, cheap, and easy recipes they would like to share with me? I don’t want to spend an arm and a leg for good dinner any more. I’ve tried Pinterest as well but everything is a million ingredients. I also love my crock pot!
@princessrose, its like rice but if u leave it in the fridge it's still mushy the next day! it honestly doesnt even need seasoning or salt! & its super good for u!
@princessrose, nope. I do put a little olive oil on the chicken, though. By the time it's done cooking there are so many juices in the bottom that it makes a great gravy.
We do tater tot hot dish : bag of frozen tater tots, cream of mushroom soup, drained canned corn and green beans (although you can use fresh), and a pound of ground meat. Others use beef, I use turkey. Brown the meat, mix in the canned stuff, top with the tots, and bake for 45min at whatever temp the tots says.
Pork chops with mashed potatoes and green beans. We used a roast seasoning we have.
Also pulled pork in the crockpot pot. I Googled recipes for the sauce and rubs. Then I 'pull' it in the stand mixer with the whisk attachment because I hate using forks.
A whole chicken in the crockpot, seasoned with whatever you like. (I raise it off the bottom with tinfoil balls.) Low 6-8hrs, high like 4.
