Has anybody dealt with their kids picking at themselves? My daughter won’t leave scabs alone to save her life, and she has just recently started picking at her face.. I don’t know how to stop her! 😔

It could be an anxiety thing honestly. I did the same thing growing up and my mom hated it but I did it when my mind would just race about things, I still do it now and then and I've had anxiety for a long time.

I have awful anxiety so seeing her do it and thinking that may be why kills me, because I blame myself

Plus I tend to pick too, so I’m sure her seeing that doesn’t help

Yes my son does this from time to time. We buy the small circular clear Band-Aids and use Neosporin to prevent infection. It also helps him to stop picking the same area again and again.

She just rips bandaids right off! 😔
