Need help ladies.
Contraception. I'm currently on the mini pill (take everyday with no break at same time). I stopped breastfeeding at 10 and half months due to my gallstones and needing stronger painkillers. Anyway my period has come back since stopping feeding and I've had two cycles so far. They are actually very painful cramping in my tummy and back, as well as bleeding for 3 weeks straight both times. It's awful, my system has never been like that.
Other than the combined pill where I know it'll give you just a week of scheduled bleeding, can anyone recommend any others? What about the implant, or injection? Periods, weight gain etc.. pleaseeee xx

I'm on the implant for the second time and haven't gained any weight and had 1 light period in 3months x

I'm on the injection been on it 5 years in total never had a problem with it and no bleeding, weight gain or anything x

@nataliielouiseexo, @chesscalouise2, @abbyrose, I can't decide what to do, three weeks is so long to be bleeding for so really want to change. But the unknown of what it'll do to my body is scary. Think I'm leaning more to the implant or injection 🤔 xx

I've had the implant in for 2 months and have no complaints, I went straight from mini pill to implant and have only had 1 light period so far x

@kayleeebeee, I like the injection as it's every 3 months we're as the pill is every day and patch is every week... I'm to scared to get the implant or coil though😂xx

@kayleeebeee if it doesn't agree with your body (the implant) they'll remove it and try something else 😁 everyone's bodies are different so you'll not know til you try lol, I like it cause it lasts 3 years and the last time I was on it I must of only had 4 periods xx

Thank you, I'm also scared about fertility afterwards as we know we want more children eventually. I'm just after a little break now 😴 xx

@kayleeebeee they say with the injection don't go on it if you want a baby in a year xx

It's all about the implant for me. Works great and don't really get periods other than a light one now and again for a few days. I haven't long stopped breastfeeding though so my implant is just an extra safety net. Would love another baby but not for at least a few years lol x
