To me it’s worse having a newborn in the summer. No one ever mentions that though. Worrying about them over heating, hot car rides, you can’t do skin to skin, and swaddling is out of the question.

I had late August babies. Pregnant in summer is a heck of a lot better than a hot sticky baby cluster feeding. I could float in a pool, sit in frigid AC, cooling myself was easy.

Yes girl today was one of those days I just didn’t want no one to touch me look at me speak to me nothing I was sweating way to much . My MIL sat next to me for two minutes just trying to feel baby and when she got up her leg was soaked (a bit of an exaggeration lol) because of how hot I was

Oh I know those struggles. I had November and September babies. The September one was no joke. It was brutal. Luckily I was already a sahm so I took my son to my moms, sisters and the YMCA’s pool a lot that summer. And we did bounce houses for him a lot too. Fun indoor activities if you’re a sahm. It’s tough I’m sorry you’re in the midst of it all now!! Hang in there. Lots of water and popsicles lol!!
