Ladies who have and had gestational diabetes how many weeks did they let you carry to ? I’m trying to see what everybody else doctor said

@amya2, I find out my exact date next week on Tuesday that they will induce
I have type 1 diabetes and both my kids were born at 38 weeks
My OB said he wouldn't let me go over 38 weeks. I'm 25 now and it's my first pregnancy. I'm not sure what he meant by that. I mean not sure if I'll be induced or c-section. I just have to wait and see because there are factors like baby weight and my blood pressure. I need to have certain levels to then decide certain things. It's a waiting game.
@aileen_west, lol it’s not bad it was really quick Nd the dont even have to use the pelvic exam thingy lol
@aileen_west, yes I have GD has it since 28 weeks Nd I’m high risk so even before I had GD I was getting seen weekly Nd having a ultrasound every week but yes I already had my 36 strep test Nd stuff
They scheduled me for induction but I gave birth the day before at 39+3.
I was induced at 39 weeks and everything went well. And it when away right after

@kyleigh.e.h, oh wow well my doctor is not letting me go past 39 weeks he said something about the sugar and baby
I didnt have it but a good friend of mine did they let her carry till she went into labor naturally
With my son I went 35 weeks
