Right ladies not baby related but need your opinions, we've been offered a house swap we currently live in a fairly big 2 bed mid terrace house the garden isn't child friendly atall and we have been wanting to move for a while before Isabella starts school. The house we've been offered is a small 2 bed bungalow the house isn't ideal and is slightly smaller then ours but the area is right in the country side which I love it's semi detached with a small school and nursery down the road I would probably need to learn to drive as there's nothing in walking distance. But the main thing is it comes with half an acre of land, the garden is absolutely huge and perfect for the kids it's got fields all around it with sheep in and little trees it's so lovely!! I'm torn as the house is smaller and I will have to leave my job which I love but my family do come first and if this improves Isabella childhood then it's all for her. What would you ladies do?xx

Right down all the pros and cons and see what comes up. Can you get by with a little less space? De-clutter etc. If in the long run the area/ family and schools are good. We've had this debate several times over the past year when we've moved!

We're currently going through referencing on a new house. We loose a bit of space downstairs but it's in the same area we are now so our jobs & Morgan's school aren't affected which is more important to me than a smaller dining room/ bedroom. I say that before we've moved... lol

@vixster, were only about 15 minute drive from a few bigger towns which have all the main shops asda, doctors, swimming pools etc. but the actual house location only has a few house and 1 school near it xx

@sara-lou86, we need to discuss it a lot more so will definitely have to sit down together. I personally think the space will be ok and in the future we could possible extend the property. I just want what's best for the kids really in my mind jobs come second it's schools and her upbringing I want to be the best xx

Yeh I get that. In our current situation we've been trying our very best to stay close so Morgan's school isn't disrupted. It's a good school and it's a good area. Very family orientated and close to everything we need. That trumps loosing a bit of space for us. It comes down to what's important and works for you as a family.

@bonnieb, the upkeep should be ok as it comes with a petrol lawn mower 😂 and that will be my partner job! I understand what you mean I don't want to make the wrong decision it's so hard!!xx

@vixster, that's what I thought the house had a lot of potential and I would love for Isabella to be so close to nature xx

@sara-lou86, we still need to visit the nursery and school but I think if we like them it will definitely be on the cards. It's so hard because if you make the wrong choice it's on you and there's no turning back you have to try and move again but Isabella will be starting school next year so I want to be settled for her sake and not move her around to much. Think we've got a lot of talking to do 🙄xx
