@idontwant2bapie, haha my son says some words. I just worried that the pacifier is not helping!😩🙄 I take it away & he gets it and puts it back lol 🤦🏻♀️
@superchilledmom, my son doesn’t talk at all. I feel like part of it is because I understand what he wants without him asking for it. He doesn’t even make a lot of noise which worries me a lot. But I feel like part of that is him being shy because at home he gets pretty silly and will babble a little bit.
@superchilledmom, best tip I can give you is if you know what he wants say it out loud like if he wants a sippy cup say “sippy cup” and point to it. I think kaysens biggest thing now is I always knew what he wanted and I did say it out loud and show him but I always gave in to him and never pushed him to talk and now if he is hungry or thirsty or wants something he will walk up to the fridge or point to whatever and start full on screaming and yelling till I get it for him because I never pushed him to talk really and that’s on me but best advice I could give is don’t just give in cause I regret it he is honestly a brat now and I can’t wait till he starts talking. And no matter how much I ignore him till he stops crying and calms down don’t work he just get even more mad lol
@mombie., yea thanks! I do that all the time lol tell him the names of things so he can learn, my thing is I have to teach him both english & spanish!! His dad does not speak spanish & his grandma does not speak english 🙄
Still waiting on it. We are waiting on our first speech therapy class..hopefully that helps because having an almost 3yr old that speaks at a 1yr old level is very stressful for both her and I.
I hope it helps! I know that once she starts talking her crying and tantrums should improve a little! She gets so frustrated when I dont know what she wants!l and so do I!.
My youngest isnt very verbal either but she does try and repeats a lot!!! She pretty much copies her sister and that doesnt help at all😔
@mswedes, yes I never had a problem with mine either until we moved in with my in laws and than we moved again and his world got all changed up now all he does is scream and yell and won’t talk it’s horrible I can’t even take him in public unless his dad is home
@mswedes, yeah we moved in about a month ago to and I’m hoping he starts calming down and going back to his sweet self any day now. All this and terrible 2s just is to much lol

I don't remember the exact age he started but we're at like 140 words now, and some short sentences. Maybe between 15-18m?
