You know what, we still haven't personally told everyone in our family that we're expecting again.…

We literally had a multihour long conversation with my MIL to be and told her repeatedly not to tell... She told. Apparently it's their right as grandmothers to be exited and share the news that they are going to be... definitely f*cked up.

I personally told the people I really wanted to and then let the news just pass itself around after that.

😱😱😱 Oh no. I remember you explaining that you were waiting to tell everyone and how you were relieved no one had noticed yet. How dare she dull your shine because she couldn't keep her big mouth shut 😒

I haven't personally experienced this but if it were me, I'd still send out the announcement. Don't let her spoil the fun. ❤ And its more special coming from baby's parents anyway 😆

@gorgeousmay42217 She literally told me that it's not her place and she's not going to tell anyone. To calling us a week later and saying she told the whole family.

@leroydoom right?! I had plans! And she really made it clear she wouldn't tell anyone, she would wait for us. So much for waiting. I'll still do it but it still kind of ruins the surprise but eh. They even know the possible names!! 😒

@wolfnurturer She wasted like no time, did she?! That's absolutely ridiculous! Can't believe she even told them the names. The worst mine did with the names was tell us we couldn't use one of them because it's a bad name, (it's the one we chose). I can't begin to imagine how irritated you are with her.

My MIL and FIL told everyone! We didn't want anyone to know till we had our gender revel and they told everyone family friends strangers. I was so mad

@mommytotheo did you still do an announcement or anything? I know everyone knows over here and it bugs me. I feel like she told them not to act like they know but she already told on herself on the phone.

@wolfnurturer I still went ahead with our original plan and did our abnoucnemt when we did our gender revel but literally no onr was surprised it sucked so much.

@mommytotheo I'm sorry to hear that!! I guess one surprise would be that most of our family lives very far away and none has seen me pregnant before. This is my second pregnancy. Unless she showed them Mother's Day photos 😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒😒

My mother did that to me!!! I had plans going down there for a family get together and telling everyone cause its my first and i really wanted to tell my family and they already know cause she told them 2 seconds after i told her 😒 i am sorry to hear because i was so POed i didnt get to tell anyone in my family but my parents and my hubs dad 😒 she said she wouldnt and my dads doesnt have a big mouth like her so i know it wasnt him 😒

My husbands grandma did this to us. I was extremely upset because I was being extremely cautious about who we told since I had a Mc earlier in the year and it was hard going back and telling people what happened. But some people have no respect. Now we have major boundaries and yes I did send out an announcement..make sure to put these boundaries up now because I thought that was the worst but nope..my MIL showed up to the hospital the day I was induced and walked into my labor room without our permission. My own mother wasn’t in the room...

@kacysowell oh goodness, sorry to hear. This is my second baby, she pretty much knows how I can get. Just unfortunate how she was quick to forget the conversation we had. Did you tell them to escort her out or?
