Do you ladies think drinking lots of water, doing squats, and the elliptical everyday during pregnancy will help me stay somewhat “fit” or in shape??? Tips please. Maybe also walking in the afternoons

My dr told me to continue my workout regime but to go easy & try to keep my heart rate down. I did Zumba classes twice a week throughout, my last being when I was 39+6. I continued w weights as well, just a much lesser weight than usual. Listen to your body, take breaks when you need to & stay well hydrated. I fully believe it helped so much w labor & recovery. My first I was a couch potato, had to be induced, long labor, pushed for 2 hrs & recovery SUCKED!! With my second (when I worked out) went into labor on my own on my due date, it was much faster, pushed only 1.5 times & recovery was a breeze!

It will help with delivery and after. So, yes it will. Just don't over do it.
