Can someone please tell me what helps get through contractions with no meds? 😭 Laying down, bending and squatting seems to be more painful.
Breathe in for 5 seconds through your nose, hold it for 2 seconds, breathe out through your mouth for 7 seconds, hold for 2, repeat. It helped me a lot with my first
@mz.foy14 just keep trying momma if it gets to be to much you could always ask for pain meds if you don't wanna do the epidural
@mommytonayeliz Kinda hurts when I do that one. Seem like more pressure.
@boymomx3 I think I am having a hard time focusing on breathing. It was easier at first. I got to keep trying.
@mz.foy14 you're welcome i went all natural with my littles boys and it helped!
Breathing really helps and moving your hips back and forth kind of eases the pain.
Try all 4s, try laying side, try the peanut ball if they have it, try the birthing ball, get in tub, get in shower and let water hit your back and hips, have partner or nurse do counter pressure massage, stay relaxed as possible.
I agree with just focusing on the breathing and maybe get some relaxing music to listen to.
@mariapb I agree breathing really help me too
