Saw a little boy about (4-5yrs) crying today because he was getting his hair cut. Telling his mom and grandma “please don’t cut my hair” “no!! I love my hair mommy” but of course grown up thinks they now best and don’t cry about his feeling. 😓😓 I won’t ever do that to my kids. I’ll let them hair grow and encourage them to let it grow long until they are old enough to understand if they want a new look or not.

I tried to let my son's hair grow because he liked it but his father (we aren't together anymore) kept telling me it needed to be cut and he always had a fit about it being a mess. I finally had no choice because he said if I didn't get it cut he would and I would not have liked the way he would get it.

@ladyblauvelt.skysmomma, yeah no.. idc what people think. You wouldn’t make that decision on your hair if you didn’t want to but people don’t care. They tend to want their children to look the way they want. Clothes is different butlet them be their natural selfs 🤷🏻♀️

I love his hair long, and if he ever tells me he wants it short I'll cry, but I'll do it. If he wants it long he can have it long, but only if he can take proper care of it, like washing and brushing.

My son hates getting a haircut so we are letting it grow until he’s older and can decide what to do with it. He also is so cute with his little surfer look. 😍
