Trying to figure out how to even announce I’m pregnant and due in November with our 2nd... doctor wrote down gender today haven’t looked I’m too afraid.. gotta first tell my dad.. my SO parents know my sister and mom know but haven’t told my dad cause I don’t think you tell something like that over the phone... he comes in next week for my daughters first birthday but I’m scared to tell him.

@ek620, because with our first we was supposed have our own apartment already and my SO kept telling my dad how he had money saved to move and then it was spent on bills cause he was out of work due to an accident so kept telling my dad one thing and then it was another so all of our goals through our daughters first year haven’t done any of them and now I’m pregnant again I just feel like a let down and don’t have our
sh-t together 😔

You won’t always have your shit together when you’re having a baby. Even if it’s your second or even third, what matters is that you are healthy & able to bring this baby to the world and keeping him or her safe. Sometimes parents can be so judgmental of our choices, if that’s the case don’t let it get to you. As long as you and your partner are happy, then that’s what matters.
