Anyone lose a filling/have a toothache while pregnant? I need suggestions on what to do.😩

Yes I recently had this problem last week u can get it fix or looked at just contact your dentis before your third tri mester

If you have a toothache, schedule an appointment with your dentist. They can either work with your OB, or have you get necessary permissions to fix whatever safely.

Try and get in asap to get it pulled or fixed. I ended up waiting forever and caused and absesed tooth. And that's gonna be more painful.

@autism.mommy, they will pull it or fill it now? I’m just worried about any X-rays they may want to take or if they say root canal😭

I would call the dentist first and let them know you're pregnant. They will tell you what they would need from your midwife, if anything.

As far as X-rays go, dental X-rays are very location specific, and they will double up the lead apron and probably not take so many.

@ashleycorinaa They cover you with a few vest thing's. It's fine. I had it done all my pregnancy.

@ashleycorinaa Your welcome! Just make sure they know your Pregnant. Amoxicillin what my dentist gave me when I had mine pulled.
