Had my 20 weeks ultrasound today, the lady-ultrasound technician did not comment anything and when i asked if everything ok all she said-the doctor will read results -now im crazy worried, was it same with you girls?

It depends on the tech. We had a scan at 33 weeks because I was concerned at how much smaller I was this time around and the tech was silent the entire time and when I asked her if everything looked good she said the same...my doctor found it odd and felt the tech lacked bedside manors. Baby was good and approx. 5.8

Oh thanks god. Yeah she could at least say if it looks ok to her.That made me really worred

They’re not allowed to say anything, some are better with bedside manners and skirting the issues and others not so much. Usually if it’s something bad, they go get the doctor then and there or have you see them immediately.

Yeah my first ultrasound the lady did the same and the doctor told me everything looked good. This pregnancy she explained everything she took a picture of and it put me at so much ease. Like someone else said they’re not allowed to say everything looks great but man when the tech was telling me the different things she was taking pictures of it made me feel so much better. Some just have better bedside manners then others.

Sorry this is such a late comment. But it also depends on the offices policies for their employees. Like where I work I can tell the pt their numbers but cant say good bad or high low. So I always tell them I'm sorry I can't discuss it with you. The doctor will though.
