It’s because blue dye tests are notorious for false positives. Just get a First Response test.

Evaps don't always go away. Blue dyes are the worst to use. They have A lot of evaps, faint false positives. A lot of broken hearts. Get a pink dye!

@ekagle32, I’ve personally never used blue dye tests because they are so unreliable. So me personally, I don’t know if they give false negatives.

I would use the cheapie dollar store tests, or the easy @ home strips that came with my opks, and when those said positive I would double check on the First Response digital. The First Response digital is the only digital that doesn’t need a lot of hcg like the other digitals on the market to give you a yes or no reading.

@ekagle32, and Clearblue digitals need 50 hcg to say pregnant. I would use them 48 hours after my first positive.

Evaps don’t go away I’ve had a lot of negative tests that look just like yours blue tests are horrible and give false positives all the time

Go to dollar tree and get a dollar test if you can’t afford first response. Their tests have pink dye and don’t usually have evap lines!
