When they say feed every 4 hours do I count when they start sucking boob or when he passes out on boob? George was on me in spurts from 7-8:30.. not sure if I should wake him to feed or not suggestions?
Is it normal at times he’s latched for like a hour then other times it’s 30 mins?
I only wake a baby up to nurse until they get back to their birthweight. Always feed on demand. Breast milk digests quickly so they feed more frequently.
To answer your question, I’ve always counted at the start of each feeding.
Feed on demand. Whenever baby is hungry, feed them. But if you’re keeping track, it’s from the start of the feed.
It's best to feed on demand. Whenever they are fussing or looking like they want to eat. And I think 4h is too long it's more like 2 Or 3 from when they finish last feed. If newborns sleep more than a few hours I'd wake to feed.
What do,you do?
When breastfeeding... Do you put baby on both boobs in one, feeding? Or,do,you use one boob for one feeding and another boob for,the next feeding? I,don't,remember.
So when I'm feeding the opposite boob leaks like crazy I soak through the nursing pad and the shirt I'm soaked at the end of the feeding. Last time I put a bottle under my boob and leaked 2 oz. how long am I gonna be producing this much??!! Anyone else experiencing this
Hey girlies! I plan on breast feeding my LO as much as I can. I also plan to formula feed when needed. Have any of you moms tried organic formulas? How was it? Experience?
Quick question to breast feeding mum i would like to breast feed my baby when she comes as I’ve never really breast fed my other 2, is it uncomfortable also how is pumping out milk????? For bottle feeds is the pump uncomfortable... I would normally just breast feed and not pump when home but I do drive so when I’m out and can’t stop I’ll have to use a bottle...I remember trying to breast feed my youngest and I keeped getting milk ducts why was that??? I think that’s why I gave up as I was scared...
