Anyone have a C-section ? How long did it take for you to feel comfortable again, or be able to move…

I’ve had two . The first one took me about a whole month & maybe a week to actually feel better . I actually had a cold & it took longer to heal because I kept coughing .

@kaylabee., Goodness I’ve been coughing I try to bend over & hold my belly when I do it... I went to my 2 week pp appointment Monday & she said so far it looked good but goodness it’s so uncomfortable, & I hate the feeling !

@katelyn.slaine, for me to no longer be in pain it took about a month. But I had to be cut weird and was doing stuff I wasn't suppose to. Such as lifting stuff because I didn't have any help and uhm sex. Those are no no's.

Like doing laundry, getting up & down too much which I have to while I’m home during the day & night to care for my little one, but I’m so scared I’ll rip it open 😱 Some of my steri-strips are starting to come off which I think I let them fall off on their own !

How long did you bleed for ?

@katelyn.slaine, the strips is normal. Between showers and sweating it's inevitable. Just don't pull them off even if there's only a tiny little piece that's on your skin. I bled for about 3 weeks. Little under but over 2. You need to take it easy.
