So earlier today around 12 this afternoon I started feeling a lot of cramping in my abdomen plus tightening in my belly and very little movement from my son, the cramping was consistent and didn’t stop until about 130.
I’m 33 weeks tomorrow and am unsure as to what it could be.. The doctor had also told me on Tuesday at a check up that he is very low.
My water had broke with my daughter at 33 weeks so I’m just feeling super nervous about early labour 😳 Any thoughts or anybody else been/going through this?

I had this issue a couple of weeks ago and saw my Dr and she said when you are dehydrated you can get painful Braxton hicks and to just rest and drink lots of water and once I did that they went away... I hope that helps

@paigetaylor_95, Well that’s good, and if it comes back you know they’d want you to go in. Hopefully it’s just BH. My oldest son was born at 34 weeks, and I assumed I had a gut ache from spicey tacos..boy was I wrong and I’m a nurse lol

@beakymcspence, Well I had called labour & delivery and the nurse had said because I had my daughter pre term she advised me to come in and be examined but at the time I called my cramping and pains went away so I figured I’d give it an hour before heading to the hospital right away and they went away I haven’t been experiencing any pain since..

If you have a history of preterm labour as a L&D nurse I would strongly advise that you contact your care provider. It’s most likely Braxton Hicks but with your history can’t hurt to get check checked!
