Actually your not considered full term until 38 weeks. It’s changed over the years from 36 to 37 and now 38 weeks

@lillys.mommy, Full was 39 weeks according to my midwife. They had to medically induce me, but told me I couldn’t be induced until I was considered full term at 39 weeks. I think all doctors need to get their shit in one sock because telling people 50 different things can be deadly. 🙊

Lol anyway walk a lot. Do some squats. Actually I did everything under the sun and I didn’t go into labor on my own I had to be induced at 41w 5d 🤷🏻‍♀️ your body has a mind of its own but those are all the safe things they tell you to try to get your body ready

Really it depends on where you look. I’ll be delivering at 38 weeks via repeat csection if I make it that long.

Try doing squats with your knees wide apart. It’s suppose to help get the baby engaged and dropped so it’s head can put pressure on your cervix to help you dilate.

Try this. Worked for my grandma's uncle's best friend's wife.

I suggest doing it in front of a couch or ottoman or something. I’m super clumsy and loose my balance easily so it makes me feel more comfortable to have something to hold onto

Coffee steam session. Pour hot coffee into a bowl big enough to balance in your toilet and then sit over it and let the steam from the coffee dilate you. Works like a charm every time, at least, that’s what my coworker’s best friend’s dog walker’s hair stylist told her.
