If your doctor isn't worried, you're not doing anything wrong. Some kids are bigger, and some are smaller. My son was 17.5lbs at 1 year. At 2 years he was 21lbs. He's always been small, and he eats really well.

@mokimbo, yeah my daughter was bigger at 1 year but my son not the case. People keep telling me he’s so small and I’m like he eats everything and the dr said he’s fine.

@triniricanmom is he on the shorter side too? My son was/is still small, he turned 4 before he finally hit 30lbs and was barely 3 ft tall (hes only put on like an inch since then and hell be 5 in Nov lol), and he weighed about the same as your boy at ten months 😊 Totally healthy. Also, was your boy born small? My Damien was 5lbs, 9oz and 18.5in

@triniricanmom Don't worry about what people say. They'd make comments if he was big too. You know he's fine, his doctor knows he's fine, no one else matters. I know how annoying it is to hear the comments, but I've learned to just block it out. I smile and say "yup he is!" and move the conversation along.

@leroydoom, they said his height is normal. I’m short and his dad is very tall and my daughter is tall too so hopefully he takes after his dad skinny and tall. My son was 6lbs 12oz

Mine is almost 5 months and weighs 7.11

10 months and 30 lbs. wow. My son is almost 2 and he's only 28 lbs, but he's on the tall side though.

@busybee818, yes my friends baby is 10 months and 29lbs. He looks like a 2 year old.
