Today was my first real try at potty training. We did the no pants method. She ran around naked all day and had zero accidents.

Also even when she “didn’t have to go” I made her sit down and a lot of the time she went. Try just sitting him down for a few.

My oldest son wasn’t ready either until 4 years old. My 3 year old son now has been potty train for about a month I was trying to a few months ago but he wasn’t ready I also did the no pants method too at first then underwear. Just try it a few times if not just want until he’s ready good luck.

Make it fun. When we first started I had jelly beans as a treat. One jelly bean ever time she used the potty. Once those ran out we started making a game out of it. "Momma has to pee!" or "Dadda is gonna beat you to the bathroom!" She always wants to be first or "beat us" so she always runs to the bathroom now.

If he says no take him to the potty anyway when your mommy sense is tingling and it’s been awhile since he’s used the bathroom. Once you put him on the potty he will definitely go. I agree with @lilnote, make it fun. Sticker charts and praises when he uses the bathroom. When he acquires a set amount of stickers for using the potty he gets a treat! They love that lol

@messybunmom, lol a fellow B.B. mom helped me with that idea because my first was so easy. But my daughter wasn’t having it. Also I bought a little potty book for her to look at when she’s on the toilet and the book came with stickers. There is a boys book as well!

@messybunmom, yes I forgot to also add that what I started doing was giving him high five & for him dancing that he went potty or also giving him his favorite popsicle during thee day. Theirs been a couple of times that he has put on his underwear sometimes backwards, all in the same side or the correct way & he high five me.

M&Ms.. that's all I have to say lol 2 for pee n 3 for poop. Worked like a charm 👌

Def treats at this point lol. Also instead of asking him every 15 min tell him it’s time to go on the potty and put him on. Also if you don’t already make it routine every time he wakes up to put him straight onto the potty. If he goes make a massive deal about it dance 💃 do whatever you have to to make it exciting for him lol. Goodluck girl.

I'm having the same problem and my son is 3 and will be 4 in December too! I feel so bad because I feel like I don't know what to do exactly. My son won't go without wearing any pants either or shoes and then he pees and drips down and hits his shoes. It's so frustrating!

My son is also 3, he does great in the house now. I was on the verge of giving up completely because it was just not happening, so I decided to try for a few more days and bought stickers. Every time he used the potty he put on a sticker on the potty. Now I’ve just got to master the going out with underpants. 😬

@sjb., I like that idea, putting stickers on the potty. I failed horribly yesterday. He didn’t want to go commando so instead we put his underwear on. He peed twice yesterday in his pants. I asked him if he wanted to be a big boy or like a baby and still use diapers. He said “like a baby” 🤨😓😂😩

@messybunmom, my son says the exact same!! I’ll say are you a big boy or a baby? He says “a baby” then lays on me like a newborn 😑 like nooo that’s not the answer I was looking for! I’ve heard a few times now that boys are lazy and boy is he proving them right. 😂 After posting my comment, we went right back to square one. I think I jinxed it.

@sjb., oh no!!! 😮😂😩 it’s terrible. We had a rough time over the weekend with it. I’m leaving him alone this week and hopefully next week will be better.

It’s making me dread when Adam gets older to potty train lol.
