I've been married for 2 years and it still terrifies me. You think you know everything about the person your with...when the truth is you don't....learn new things every year.
I haven't even been married a whole year yet and it still terrifies me. Its not that im insecure or anything like that its just like wow does he really plan on being with me forever until death do us apart how I know he wont get tired of me? girl thoughts like that be running through my head it is terrifying man.
Not when your with the right person. I couldn’t wait to marry my husband. He’s my soulmate. We’ve been together goin on 5 years and just hit 2 years being married. I couldn’t have picked a better man to share the past 5 years with and the rest of my life.
@johannarmaria, exactly!!! I have no idea why I am either😭 it’s just so much work to commit I’m not sure if I’m ready I hope he waits a very long time before asking me
@mommynmotion I'm right there with you. I don't mind being commited at all, but throw the word marriage in there and it seems like a whole new level that I'm not ready for 😂
I’m not so much afraid of marriage as I am of divorce. DH and I have been together 5 years and married 2.5. Marriage has its ups and downs but I agree that if you’re with the right person all of the fear goes away. My parents were married 23 years and then got divorced. I know people who have been married 40 years and are now divorced. I think that’s what scares me the most is the not knowing if the same will happen with me.
ME!! I’ve been with my child’s father for five years and we’ve lived together since our first year dating. We’ve been engaged for a year but I’m TERRIFIED of actually getting married. It’s weird.
