I want to start potty training my oldest but just don't have the energy to do it

Mine didn't until he was showing signs of readiness. He was 2 when he started and quickly learned. We started noticing he was dry after 3 hours of being in a diaper, so we offered the potty seat when the diaper was dry. We kept it casual for a few months until he refused his diapers.

I'd make sure your little is able to pull up and down their pants, hold their pee until the next diaper change.

He's showing some signs now he's even peed in the potty a couple of times he also tells me when he needs his diaper changed, I'm just being kinda lazy

My son was completely potty trained before 2.5yrs old. My daughter was a newborn and it was challenging, but we were persistent and it worked. He will have a couple of accidents but will get the hang of it. My friends son will be 4 in july and he still in diapers because she says shes too lazy lol
