Kinda nervous about tomorrows appointment. I gotta get a repeat pap for abnormal cells growth that I’ve had for 3 yrs now . All we know is that it’s not an infection or std nor inflammation . After I had my daughter last year I was supposed to get a biopsy done but I never stopped bleeding after my c-section and birth control than I got pregnant so now a biopsy is OUTT cause the cells are on my cervix . They wasn’t worried because they haven’t changed since they noticed them 3 yrs ago but as of my last pap 4 weeks ago they have changed 🙄 and they want to get a closer look even though we can’t do anything about them until after birth . I just hope that it’s nothing serious because I put it off for so long then couldn’t take care of it when I wanted to due to pregnancy and bleeding and now pregnancy again .

I had an abnormal pap when pregnant with our first. The doctor said when you give birth you shed your cervical cells and get all new ones after baby is born. She did a colposcopy during pregnancy but that was all. I was monitored and there wasn't change and my doctor was happy. My 6 week post partum check got pushed to 10 weeks. Abnormal and another colposcopy. Then a biopsy that showed the cells were super aggressive and had progressed to CIN 3 (1 stage below cervical cancer) and I needed a leep and cone. They removed 25% of my cervix and I've had normal paps for the last almost 3 years. But I definitely have that fear on the back of my mind just not knowing if it could come back one day. P.S. I also bled fro the birth of our first in April 2015 until January 2016 partly caused by the abnormal cells. Wishing you all the best and that everything clears up once baby is here!

@jessig2006, omg that’s so scary I don’t want to go through any of that !! I’m glad you made it fine in the end !! And now that you said that I deff won’t hold back on getting it taking care of once I have my baby if need be !! Thanks for sharin your experience
