We've made some progress today! My boys had a GI appointment and we're on the right track to get some answers.
Rylan(8mo) has a swallow study on June 26th to see if he's aspirating because he's at risk and chokes on liquids especially thin liquids and they put him on Lactulose for his constipation and put on the correct dosage of Zantac.
Justice(20m) got some blood drawn today and has to get his stool tested because he has constant, daily diarrhea. They are testing for a lot of things like Celiac disease, inflammation, bacteria or parasites etc just to name a few. He also got put back on Zantac for reflux. Next stop is an official asthma diagnosis.
Once all these tests come back we work on the next steps. So glad this GI doctor doesn't brush me off!

If you don’t mind me asking, what dosing did they put your 8month old on for the Zantac? I’m having the worst time with my 7months old and his tummy issues

@_sheriee he's 18lbs 6oz and the dosage is 2.5mls twice a day.

@_sheriee just remember its not supposed to stop him from having reflux it just stops it from burning when it comes up. And thank you, you too. What's going on with your son?

@skyy12221, my guy doesn’t actually throw up. He just makes the sound as if it was coming up and wakes up screaming. He wakes every 30ish minutes at night and goes 10-12 days without a bowl movement.

They keep adjusting dosages and switching from lactulose to miralax and now they mentioned senna. I also adjusted my diet completely since he’s breastfed. He’s had a few tests done so I’m waiting for results.
