So a couple months ago we started potty training our 3 year old.. it wasn’t really working so we gave it a break. Now it’s day 7 since we started again, if he’s reminded he will use he potty successfully and sometimes he will even tell you he wants to go.. BUT when it comes to #2 he will go in his pants and hide! He knows he’s doing something wrong! What am I doing wrong? I feel like he should know by now 😔 I’m getting very discourage but we’ve gotten this far I don’t want to give up. Help!

@txmomof5, I just feel like with the pee he should be telling me more often too instead of me constantly having to remind him :(
My daughter did the same thing when it came to pooping. She would run and hide. We used a hospital toilet and put it in front of the tv. We figured out she didn't want to miss anything. She was a little over 4 by the time she was pooping in the bathroom toilet. Lol 😊
Make sure you don’t treat him like he’s bad when he does this. Just tell him no and remind him where pee and poop goes
We did m&ms as a reward. She got two every time she tried to poop. Ours did the same thing for a while
@phoebesmommy, I do tend to get mad at him so maybe I should stop that and just say no poop goes in the potty :/
