I love being able to let Lily roam around our back yard while I watch from the porch or swing. I'm as "free range" as it gets, lol. My two oldest kids are free to roam this whole cul de sac as long as they ask me first so I know.
@kellynicole if I had a fenced yard my kid would be outside most of the day playing and doing his own thing, eventually we'll have a house with a fenced yard. My son loves being outside but he doesn't love listening lol
