Did anyone not give your 2 year old a birthday party? My almost two year old is very shy and doesn’t like being around a lot of people. I was thinking no birthday party, and just her, her dad, and I doing something special instead.
He's not having a party! He turns two next week and we're going to go to the zoo or kids museum to celebrate, just us. We will have cake the day before, though, because I love cake.
We did do a party for 1, but we'll do the same as @haslberry and wait until he asks for the next one.
We didn't. We took her to the kids museum and played outside all day. We had a small cake and took her out to lunch, and periodically sang "Happy Birthday" to her. She had a blast.
I did a party for family and friends for her 1st birthday, but I won't again until she asks for one.
We don't do parties, either. My in-laws always get the kids so much stuff that they get overwhelmed (mostly clothes, but they fill a large trash bag). Last year, it took my daughter two days to open presents because she would open a few and get bored. Of course, they want pics of her opening each package too 🙄
My little boy was 2 a fortnight ago, we didn't have a party, we went to the safari park for the day just me him and daddy, it was a lovely day out x
We didn't! My husband and I just took him out for a special day. We brought him to a bounce house place. He loved it. The reason we don't do parties is because we both come from divorced families and no one can be in the same room without drama and fighting. Once he's older we'll have parties with his friends.
I didn’t I just took him somewhere he would enjoy so since he is so into sharks right now we took him to the aquarium
We just did a family thing at home
