I know it’s possible to get pregnant on bc. I been on Mirena since August 2017 after I had my second son. I never had any spotting or bleeding only cramping in the beginning. Well today I started bleeding like a light period at work. I called my OB just to be on the safe side and she stated “some people bleed monthly, some every 3 months and sometimes it’s random but when it’s like that we just recommend taking a pregnancy test to be on the safe side”. So of course I’m freaking out because I don’t want anymore kids and yes I knew it was still possible but I just don’t want any now. My question is should I wait to take the test after I stop bleeding for accurate results or it won’t matter if I am bleeding? Also anyone ever got pregnant on Mirena?

@cayden_mommy2018, I don’t think I want anymore at all, I should of got my tubes tied smh I have told my husband to at least pull out but of course when it’s time it’s either too late or it’s just a heat of a moment thing,....I just want all my female reproductive organs removed at this point 😂
I don’t have mirena I’m on the desk shot and was on the depot shot when I got pregnant with my son, and got back on it after I had him, I literally got the shot while I was in the hospital lol. But it’s still definitely possible to get pregnant on anything. My mom is currently pregnant with number 7. She’s had her tubes tired twice and still got pregnant. Anything can be happen all I can say is have a talk with your partner and explain that you’d like to enjoy life for right now before you guys welcome anymore children into the family. Also express maybe using condoms? I’m not sure if you’d be up to that. Or him pulling out. Sorry if I sound rude i promise I’m not trying to be. Just shooting some ideas out there for you. I literally just had to have the talk with my partner Bc I’m definitely not ready for another child for s very long time. Like years! Lol

Haha lol girl that’s how I feel. Like no thank you I’ve got one and he’s a hand full! It’s like taking care of 3 kids! Lol as soon as my bf comes over I say hi how are you btw here’s the baby I’m going to take a shower I don’t give him time to reply to me! Lol at that point I’ve been puked on at least 6 times and covered in drool. And I smell like formula. I love my son and wouldn’t trade it for the world. I just don’t know if I could do 9 months and a 36 hour labor again. But it was definitely very rewarding! Lol that’s why as soon as I got with him(Bc he’s not my sons father) I told him don’t ask for it. And when we’re ready this is how it’s going down. Bc from time to time I forgot my shot like I did last month and they won’t give it to me until next month so I have to start all over again. They tried to say I was pregnant again. I was like how tf can I get myself pregnant your starting to sound like my baby dad! Lol
