It sucks!! My son got it at school but didn’t have any bumps.. we didn’t even know he had it until I caught it and I got all the annoying symptoms 😒 use bleach water to sanitize everything! Or boiling water for things that can go in little ones mouth.. my mom said I had it as a baby and I would only eat popsicles... so if it gets to that point for your little one popsicles will be your best friend.. good luck momma!
I second the popsicles! He refused everything but milk and popsicles. He reverted back to a bottle during that time too 😩, I think it just felt most comfortable for his poor mouth. Just keep her comfy and it’ll pass before you know it.
@raisinghazel, yes, but not as severe. I didn’t really get a fever but I got uncomfortable bumps on my hands and feet and a couple in the back of my throat. Both my kids got full on sores all over their bodies and in their mouths and my toddler got a really high fever before the sores started showing up.
@sarahbethk I didn't notice a fever i noticed a spot on her tongue then 2 days later (today) i saw spots on her hands i was like WTF!!! Is going on with my kid. Now its on her ankles elbows knees palms 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
@raisinghazel, my son got new spots for days. It peaked around day 5 or 6 and then slowly started to heal. Took about 2 weeks for him to be back to normal.
@raisinghazel, my son had fever and cold like symptoms and I got the bumps on my hands and feet.. try to keep them from pooping because my dr said that will make it more contagious and spread more.. as far as I know the symptoms are the same for both adults and kids.. I just had god on my side and he knew I rather deal with the bumps and crap rather than seeing my little boy like that..

That’s the worst!! Both my boys and myself got it back in January. Sanitize EVERYTHING. Good luck mama.
