Has anyone ever ‘tore’ their stitches after birth? I know it says it’s impossible but my doc said it…

Why do you think you tore them or pulled them out?

@damn.it.red, i loved the wrong way yesterday and instantly had pain like i May have pulled them & i can’t walk or sit it hurts and burns so much

@jennifer.a, no moving won’t do it. If taking a shit won’t tear stitches that are from a vag hole to an asshole moving isn’t going to tear or pull any out. Did you have an episiotomy

Mine absolutely tore. I was climbing out of the bath and tore mine. Almost 6 Year’s later, and another kid, and I just got it fixed because I didn’t get stitches with my second and it got worse, and i was torn allllll the way back

@damn.it.red, no I didn’t have one. @dcjc_x2, how did you know if you tore them?

@jennifer.a, I felt like that and one day I walked a lot and the next day I felt so much better. You have to make yourself walk and use your muscles so you’ll heal.

@jennifer.a, I actually had my so look. But it hurt. Bad. When I did it it was so much burning

@damn.it.red, thank you. I will definitely try that. @dcjc_x2, i don’t want to look but i may have too. I’m just having crazy burning while i pee, walk & sit and it just started yesterday after i had to close the truck door fast before someone parking next to me almost took it out that’s why I thought I could have pulled it or tore it. This is my first baby so i have no idea what is normal and what isn’t during the healing so I just wanted to ask other moms about this.
