Been on and off the monitors for hours. Blood pressure has finally decided to come down from 179/93…

That is/was very high!

@laurabump27, Mine is normally 115/60 so it’s really high for me 😭 it’s now 156/74 I’m waiting for a doctor x

Mine was really high when I was having my second then they found out I had hellp syndrome they induced me right away she was 6 weeks early x

@jennypoulter, I have preeclampsia I’ve had it twice before so already had an induction booked for next week but now looks like it’s gonna be this week instead x

@melanie-spiritmedium, i had preeclampsia with my first hellp with my second and nothing with my third did they put you on aspirin x

@jennypoulter, Yeah but they stopped it at 36 weeks despite me saying this would happen lol x

@memybumpandi, I’m not too good, hoping it’s sooner rather than later so I don’t get worse 😭

@melanie-spiritmedium, oh why was that surely that's the most important time to take it because the placenta becomes less efficient towards the end. I took mine throughout and I had slightly high blood pressure in delivery and that was it. I hate the fact that midwifes and that never listen when I was having my 2nd I kept saying to them I've been having swelling and pain in my ribs but my blood pressure would fluctuate and they wouldn't listen to me one appointment it would be sky high the next it was normal and I new I had it but they wouldn't listen and I ended up being rushed in to hospital 2 weeks later with this hellp syndrome x

@jennypoulter, @memybumpandi, They always think they know best but sometimes they just don’t, I knew this would happen once I came off my medication. I’m being induced within the next hour x

@melanie-spiritmedium, you will be, my partner sat playing on his iPad while I was in labour with my third and my second they sent him home he come in 2 minutes before she was born lol so he wasn't much use. Are you going on the drip or pessary x

@jennypoulter, I was told the pessary by a midwife but a doctor has just said it will probably be a drip they are waiting for a consultant to come out of theatre to confirm and then I’m going straight to delivery suite x

@melanie-spiritmedium, ah how exciting I had drip for my last one and pessary with my first two i wouldn't say they were any different the midwife said it would be more painful but I didn't seem to notice I think her being my biggest baby was a contributing factor lol x

@melanie-spiritmedium, lol that sounds like a good plan hopefully they won't be much longer for you. I work nights so I'm like nocturnal 🙄. X
