Lily used the walker up until she was 12 months, at which time she started walking on her own.

I don’t think they help them learn to walk because it’s not teaching them proper weight distribution. Best way is on the floor and practicing. My son walked at 15 months and daughter 11 months.

I have no personal experience. But I've read that Walkers can inhibit the ability to walk. Also, Walkers with wheels allow baby to move faster than their developmentally ready for, which can be a safety hazard when babies move faster than parents expect.

Our doctor said they can be detrimental to babies learning to walk, can cause issues with their hips, and runs the risk of injury if they topple or you have stairs and forget to close the gate. He never used one and was walking well before his first birthday.

I don't believe they help them walk by any means. I used them with both of mine just to put them somewhere and let them get where they are going without me carryingthem constantly. I did have late walkers my oldest was 16 months and my youngest was 14 months. My youngest used the Walker until 9 months and wanted to walk so bad but he would stick out his belly and be on his tip toes like when he was in his Walker. So it took a while for him to learn how to balance properly

They don’t help and in my experience they get in the way of baby learning to walk properly

I used a walker with my baby. She’s perfectly fine. And we started using it around 9.5 months and she started walking in a couple weeks after that all by herself. She’s one now and is fully walking

I only let my oldest use one at my bosses house (I was a nanny) that way she had a place to eat but other then that I think they are pointless
