Breastfeeding moms did you start Baby on breast right after birth ?

I did. As soon as she came out and was clean I latched her right on.

@chelleyb93, okay and that helped your milk come in ? At first in hospital how often did you latch her on ?

I didn’t get the chance too because we had a NICU baby. but I know in the hospital they like for you too latch them as soon as they finish getting them cleaned up

@takiahilk it did help my milk come in. I was blessed for it to come in just a few hours after she was born, being that my daughter is my first. In the hospital I was on a every 2 hr nursing schedule.

Because I couldn’t breastfeed right away I was told I had to pump within the first 4 hours after giving birth and then every 2 hours after that

@chelleyb93, okay if I remember correctly my milk cane in after we were discharged from hospital this time around I’m considering breastfeeding

@takiahilk everyone is different. I heard some mom's milk didn't come in for up to 5 days or a little more

@chelleyb93, yes I agree this time my boobs started leaking already so I hope my supply is good I at least wanna try it though

Did you guys eventually pump and what bottles did Baby take best ?

@takiahilk I do hope you have a great supply. I plan on breastfeeding again. my daughter wouldn't take a bottle. I think I introduced her too late. She did take a sippy cup earlier than I thought.

Yeap. He got the breast as soon as he came out then whenever he was hungry or wanted to suckle.

My daughter went straight to the breast as soon as she came out. It definitely helped supply and I started pumping and introduced a bottle here and there at about 1month. Tommee Tippee closer to nature bottles were the only ones she took
