lol he's a handful! Like a sour patch kid. Sweet as pie but dementia gets the best of him sometimes. I wish I could work longer but I just can't lift him anymore. ☹️
Aw this is so sweet. Both my grandparents had Alzheimer's so I know how hard it can be to care for someone like that. Such a tough and selfless job! Kudos to you!
@porter it is hard to watch someone you love go through that. My grandmother suffered with it too.
@carissa that's great! I agree this kind of work has been the most rewarding for me too! As I told him goodbye today he thanked me for helping him each day and wished me luck and happiness with my baby. I started crying again and he just smiled and laughed at me. ?☺️ I'm going to miss him so much!

Awe sweet! I work at an Alzheimer's and Dementia facility for the last 13 and 1/2 years. Definitely a rewarding job
