Night Sweats
A new symptom for me. I've woken up the past few mornings drenched in sweat from the neck of my shirt down to my stomach. Gross, I know. But it's not smelly sweat like you get under your pits. Apparently it's a common symptom I'd never heard of until I did some research. It's due to the rapid fluctuation of estrogen causing the hypothalamus in the brain to recognize unusually high body temperature. I drink tons of water and sleep with ac on 67 w/fan on high but I guess I'll be sleeping naked for a while. Lol.

I get like that sometimes too.

Apparently it's common in all the areas of the body we've mentioned in this thread. I read it gets better in 2nd trimester since our hormones level out but it can come back in 3rd trimester. I sure hope not lol. I like to shower at night since my work day starts at 5am so this is ruining my routine lol.

With my son, I experienced the same thing. Every night of my first trimester I woke up covered in sweat. Dr said it was normAl.

Lol my fiancé is having sympathy symptoms. ??? Every time I get a new symptom, he's got in within 24 hours. I told him to suck it up. At least I haven't puked yet so he should feel lucky. ?
